Department of HealthCommunity, Mental Health & WellbeingApplications must be submitted by Sunday 23 February, 2025 11:55 PM AESTAward/Classification:Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award, General Stream, Band 3$73,811 to $79,779 per annumEmployment type:Full TimeRegion:SouthLocation:Undertakes a range of high-level administrative functions for the Older Persons Mental Health Services (OPMHS) Team including supervision of administrative staff and the coordination of administrative processes.Broaden your professional experience, with our CARE values driven approach (Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence), and work in a multidisciplinary team with like-minded people where you can improve the lives of older people.OPMHS is currently under reform, and while we know change can be challenging, this is an opportunity to make a valuable contribution and feel the reward of working in a centre that continues to grow and nurture mental health supports for vulnerable members of our community.The Role:As part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services, the Administrative Officer:Undertakes a range of high-level administrative functions for the Older Persons Mental Health Services (OPMHS) Team including supervision of administrative staff and the coordination of administrative processes.Provides high level day to day administrative support services to OPMHS.Provides high level quality administrative and reception support to OPMHS including undertaking special projects at the direction of the Director of Nursing OPMHS and other senior management.Undertakes the coordination and supervision of administrative staff, including leave management, training of staff in new processes, orientation of new or casual staff, and ongoing support of existing staff.Supports recruitment processes, planning and documentation; rostering and staffing support including record keeping and data collection, meeting planning, organization, bookings, minutes and distribution of invites and documents; asset management, reporting and data recording.Details of appointment:Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum.
