This role is responsible for carrying out regulatory functions, including detecting and monitoring breaches of the NSW Road Rules, particularly in high-risk locations such as around schools, shopping centres, and railway stations.You will be responsible for enforcing Council policies and statutory responsibilities, preparing statements of evidence, liaising with Council''s solicitors, and representing Council where court action is required for breaches of legislation.An ideal candidate will have strong customer service and well-developed problem-solving skills.Qualifications and experienceRelevant local government experience in a similar capacityClass C driver''s licenceClearance of National Police CheckUnderstanding of the profession and the role of local governmentKnowledge of relevant issues and applicable legislation/regulationsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsRemuneration and benefitsThe salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Councils Enterprise Agreement.Entry level for this position starts at $1,271.21 per weekRostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnightLeaseback vehicleEmployee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubsOur commitment to safetyBlacktown City Council is committed to safety.
