Senior Project Engineer - RoadsThis is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading civil company in Sydney, working across Road projects.The primary objective of this position is to provide on-site engineering services to assist in the achievement of organizational and project objectives.The RoleUndertake all HSEQ responsibilities as identified for your role in the Projects Management Plans and associated documents.As required, escalate potential and actual risks that may impact the safe, timely and cost-efficient delivery of activities under management.Manage quality production defined by method statements and ITPs. Monitor construction progress to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes.Establish, measure and report daily productivities for assigned activities.Undertake cost controlling and estimating as required by Project Manager.Develop, monitor and report on programmes for elements of work as required by the Project Manager.Manage work teams in the field.Verify subcontractors claims and variations.Undertake procurement as required including use of Viewpoint and ensuring adherence to SWC governance requirements such as authority limits.Understand, comply and remain current with all company policies, procedures and compliance training as relevant to your role.Maintain up to date knowledge and application of, legislation, industry standards and technological innovations as relevant to your role.What is in it for you?Market leading salaryWork on NSW leading Infrastructure ProjectsOngoing training and supportSecure long-term projectsLong-term positions with civil companies often offer stability and opportunities for career growth.
