The purpose of the role is to ensure the information management and security risks are under explicit control through the definition, adoption and adherence of an appropriate security framework. This role would suit asenior leader who has worked in information security, and IT Team management of a technology delivery/operational function with demonstrable experience in designing, implementing and measuring an organisation''s cyber security framework .WHAT YOU WILL DODevelop an information security vision and strategy that is aligned to organisational priorities and enables and facilitates the organisation''s objectivesDevelop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive information security program to ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, availability, safety, privacy and recovery of information assets owned, controlled or/and processed by MACSDevelop and enhance an up-to-date information security management framework based on NISTCreate and manage a unified and flexible, IT risk-based control framework to integrate and normalise the wide variety and ever-changing requirements resulting from global laws, standards and regulations noting MACS requirement to be a Child Safe organisationDevelop and maintain a document framework of continuously up-to-date information security policies, standards and guidelines.Facilitate a metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, facilitates appropriate resource allocation, and increases the maturity of the information security, and reviews it with stakeholders at the executive and board levelsABOUT YOUDemonstrated experience and success in senior leadership roles in risk management, information security, and IT Team management of a technology delivery/operational functionKnowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT as well as those from NIST, including 800-53 and Cybersecurity FrameworkExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels, ranging from board members to technical specialistsAbility to lead and motivate the information security team to achieve tactical and strategic goals, when both "dotted and hard line" reporting lines existExperience successfully executing programs of technology and process change that meet the objectives of excellence in a complex stakeholder environmentExperience in large scale complex IT Security incidentsHOW TO APPLYPlease refer to the position description for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.Click APPLY to submit your application.
