In this role, you will be responsible for managing all property-related payments, handling finance-related data for our portfolio of 260 assets, and supporting period-end and audit requirements associated with property accounts. You will play an essential role in ensuring accuracy and compliance in all property financial processes.Process monthly rent payments according to the financial calendar, ensuring that the rent roll spreadsheet and leasing system are balancedCreate and maintain the next months excel spreadsheet for invoicing and reconciliation purposesCalculate and process Rent, CPI Adjustments, and related paymentsMonitor the rent mailbox, review and process weekly ad-hoc payments to landlords, including electricity, grease trap, water, trade waste, rates, and land taxMonitor and review shopping centre outgoings and charges, ensuring accurate allocations and that charges are correctly captured within the property systemProcess budget and actual outgoings figures submitted by landlordsCalculate percentage rent and issue letters to landlords as required and follow up on outstanding invoicesReconcile vendor accounts and accrual accounts for rent, outgoings, promotional funds, and landlord sub-meter utilitiesSupport the annual budget process for property-related costsAssist the Financial Accounting Manager with AASB 16 leasing compliance and related tasksAbout you:Previous experience in a similar role, Accounts Payable, Finance Officer, or high-volume transactional finance roleStudying towards accountancy, or currently a bookkeeperExperience managing property or real estate portfolios, with a strong understanding of property-related financial dataIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of MRI or Lease Eagle is highly desirableGreat attention to detail and an inquisitive natureOrganized and deadline drivenHow to Apply:If you are ready to bring your expertise and passion for growth to a thriving company, we want to hear from you!
