We are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join our team, responsible for preparation of timely and accurate estimates for bids and tenders for our Programmed Facility Management business unit. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Strategy & Sales Team, working closely with our operations teams to ensure accurate commercial estimation and contribution to a seamless process from the point of estimation to delivery of work for our valued clients.This permanent, full-time position is based in Docklands (VIC) and plays a key role in ensuring accurate pricing estimation for robust financial management. The role also involves communicating risks and mitigation strategies within contract estimates, enabling operations teams to successfully deliver all contracted work safely, on time, and within budget.Key Benefits for the position and employment at Programmed include:Attractive salary package.Benefits program with retail and other discounts such as corporate health insurance.Paid parental leave & EAP which incorporates tailored well-being program.Long term career potential and development opportunities.Key Responsibilities will be:Conduct site inspections and extract accurate measurements from site plans to inform estimations.Identify and assess HSE requirements, labor, material, and subcontractor costs to support precise estimation.Develop a comprehensive scope of works statement, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures to clearly outline the work included in estimations.Apply a structured approach to pricing and margin control to optimize financial outcomes.Stay updated on changes in site access, requirements, productivity levels, relevant legislation, codes of practice, and ethical standards.Facilitate smooth pipeline management and effective transition of projects from Strategy & Sales to Operations Teams.Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and education on accurate and timely site measurements for scoping and estimation.About YouTo be successful in the role, you will have a trade, or facility/asset management background with extensive knowledge of pricing and operational delivery of maintenance and capital project works.
