We bring brands to life!The opportunityWe are on the lookout for a Senior Designer for Kidswear to join our dynamic Designworks team, based in Richmond VIC. The primary objective of our Senior Designer is to be responsible for creative direction, design, develop and create seasonal ranges that meets the Brands DNA. You will be the driving force of the product development of seasonal range for your assigned product category and producing presentation materials that optimally communicate the concept behind the ranges. You will work collaboratively with the Design Manager and Brand Team to lead the broader design team with your creative direction to meet financial targets.Key Responsibilities:Design innovative, on-trend collections that align with brand essence.Research trends and provide design input, ensuring constant innovation.Lead and manage Designers and Assistants.Create new season ranges using trend research and past season data.Collaborate in Design meetings with internal stakeholders.Create technical designs, mood boards, and range boards to communicate vision.Prepare tech packs, including drawings and specifications, within deadlines.Select fabrications that meet quality and cost standards.Forecast trends to achieve sales targets and manage timelines.Oversee the sampling process from prototypes to customer-ready products.Respond to product reviews and integrate feedback into new designs.Monitor and manage product approvals and communication with relevant teams.Ensure designs meet financial parameters and margin requirements.Source fabrics and trims and manage design approval processes with factories.Lead, mentor, and collaborate within the team to drive success and growth.The skills and experience you offer us:Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, concept ideation, colour theory, and visual presentation.Basic knowledge of pattern making, garment construction, and fit.Strong understanding of textile construction, with a focus on activewear fabrics.Experienced in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple priorities.Passionate about innovation and style.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.Strong eye for product.Just some of the perks we offer you:Generous discounts for you and your family across Brand Collective''s stable of brands!
