With a consistently increasing turnover of 1.8 billion euros, it has established a global reputation over the past seven decades as a highly reliable partner for future-proof logistic process automation.Your Position:In this hands-on role, you will direct daily workflows, ensuring timely task delivery and team development. Your key responsibilities include ensuring health and safety compliance, optimizing productivity and equipment availability, managing CMMS reporting, and overseeing maintenance and service activities. You will enhance technical performance and operational safety.As the initial lead during outages, you will resolve issues promptly, maximize system output, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. This role is crucial for smooth operations and meeting service levels at one of our largest distribution centers.Initially, you''ll work a Monday to Friday schedule until July this year. After that, we''ll transition to a shift work arrangement as we prepare to move to a 24/7 warehouse operation towards the end of the year.Your Key Responsibilities:Assist the Shift Leader by providing hands-on support and guidance to the team, fostering collaboration and high performance through active engagement and mentorship.Oversee daily workflows to ensure smooth operations and timely task completion, addressing technical challenges promptly and allocating resources efficiently.Enhance productivity and efficiency by implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives, monitoring team performance, and identifying areas for improvement.Maintain high service quality by closely monitoring processes and outputs, working with the team to meet specifications and exceed customer expectations.Utilise the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for accurate maintenance activity reporting and tracking, ensuring data is up-to-date and accessible for decision-making.Support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational performance, safety, and customer satisfaction by regularly reviewing performance metrics and implementing strategies to meet targets.About You:You''re a seasoned leader who always looks to add value and create a collaborative team environment. Your commitment to building strong, cohesive teams and driving continuous improvement makes you a vital part of our success.A degree, diploma, or certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related technical field.Experience leading technical teams in an automated environment is a plus.Skills in strategic planning and site development.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels, both in writing and verbally.Analytical abilities to interpret data, control system reports, and diagnostics for efficient equipment management.Capability to act as a technical point of contact during escalations and incidents, handling requests from internal and external stakeholders.Experience with ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems) is beneficial.What We Offer:A competitive remuneration package will be offered to someone who is a team player with a positive, energetic attitude and work ethic as well as the ability to think outside the square.
