Ways to grow business, to give back to the environment and to enrich peoples lives every day.Job DescriptionYour tenacious and hands-on approach will help in identifying and winning up-sell and cross-selling opportunities as well as building the strategic sales pipeline within Pact''s industrial division. You will also take the lead on pricing, maximizing opportunities for new product development and ways of using current expertise to differentiate us from the competition.Reporting to the Head of Sales Large Format Industrial Packaging, you will be responsible for procuring feedstock (Post-Industrial packaging) and building the customer base in Victoria. Your flexibility and agility to negotiate from the strategic to the day-to-day will be key to your success in this diverse sales role.Your advanced stakeholder influencing will be underpinned by your high emotional intelligence and persistence to achieve sales targets, as well as identify and deliver a solid pipeline of future sales opportunities for both Large Format Packaging procurement and product sales.With a proven aptitude in sales and operational planning, you will work closely with the site to coordinate and manage the process with new vendors, communicate levels of demand vs supply with operations, and implement robust plans to maintain quality of incoming feedstock (Post-Industrial packaging).Key responsibilities will be to:Liaise and coordinate with site operations to ensure demand for feedstock is satisfiedIdentify and cultivate market opportunities to develop, grow and convert to a strong sales pipelineManage end-to-end process including commercial discussions and preparation of sales proposalsProvide monthly reports on procurement gains and pipeline activityDevelop, maintain and leverage strong customer relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure solid supply lines of raw material in the marketExceed sales and margin budgets through effective sales and business developmentYour skills and experienceStrong financial acumen, financial performance to budget targetsDemonstrated capability to engage at all levels coupled with high level of influencing and negotiation abilitiesStrong strategic selling and customer solution focusProven experience in Technical Sales and Solution Selling as a key account management or Business Development ManagerPersonal presence and credibility that builds stakeholder engagementAdditional InformationAbout usWere the largest plastics recycler in Australia and New Zealand and one of the regions biggest users of recycled materials.
