With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hours drive from the CBD, Melbournes North is fast becoming the place to be!About the Role:An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Mental Health Clinician (Grade Two Occupational Therapist/Social Worker/Psychologist or Grade 3 Registered Psychiatric Nurse) to join the HOPE Team within Northern Healths Mental Health Division, located in Pascoe Vale. The HOPE program is a multidisciplinary team made up of clinicians, psychosocial support workers, and a Peer/Carer Lived Experience workforce alongside the HOPE Consultant Psychiatrist. The HOPE team is a supportive and dynamic team of staff that are truly passionate and motivated in supporting consumers and their families/carers.We provide a comprehensive range of specialist mental health services to people who reside in the local government areas of Merri Bek and Hume.This position is ongoing part-time, working 48 hours per fortnight.To be successful in this role you will have:The appropriate qualifications as a Grade 2 Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Grade 3 Registered Psychiatric Nurse.A passion for positively contributing to the lives of consumers experiencing suicidal ideation precipitated by psychosocial stressors and their families.Experience in the provision of Psychiatric assessment and intervention for consumerspreferably in a public mental health setting, but this is not essential.The ability to provide general and discipline-specific mental health assessment and intervention.The ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously.Next Steps:If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
