Reporting to the People and Capability Manager based in Perth, this national role will drive execution of initiatives in areas of policy and compliance, performance enhancement, employee engagement and consulting, learning and development and systems and process improvement.About youYou are passionate about your work, curious and driven to enable people in doing their best. You are someone who thrives on working autonomously whilst also highly valuing your ability to contribute to the team leading and mentoring when required and communicating effectively at all levels.You are an experienced professional with the ability to deliver on the following responsibilities:Reviewing and updating policy and procedure frameworks to ensure they are compliant and reflect best practice.Act as a subject matter expert on matters relating to employee relations and engagement to support managers in their people management responsibilities.Coach and support managers in identifying development needs for their teams and support in performance enhancement and management initiatives.Coordinate and implement programs and initiatives to build professional and technical skills and competencies nationally.Coordinate and implement programs and initiatives to support engagement, wellbeing and values aligned behaviour nationally.Support the People and Capability Manager in implementing digital and social media communications to help build engagement with employees internally and prospective talent externally.Support the People and Capability team in executing workforce planning, talent acquisition and onboarding of local and international employees.Support the People and Capability Manager in coaching and mentoring the People and Capability team to build depth of skills and competencies and support each other.Support the People and Capability Manager in annual remuneration reviews and other reporting and analytical requirements based on business needs.Update and review employee information and records on HRIS (Employment Hero) and execute process and system improvement projects to improve service delivery and reporting.You will bring the following to the role:Relevant HR generalist experience in professional services sector or equivalent industries and sectors.Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Psychology, Business or equivalent experience.Sound knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and how they apply to employment conditions and employment relationships.Sound knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and how it applies to employment in context of psychosocial risk management.Sound knowledge and understanding of concepts and models and its application in context of skills and competency development, training and coaching.Sound knowledge and skills in Office 365 (Excel- preferably intermediate), Word, SharePoint, Teams applications.Sound knowledge and skills in use of HRIS systems (Employment Hero) and other allied applications and systems (Xero, SurveyMonkey, LinkedIn Recruiter etc.).Skills, knowledge (or enthusiasm to learn) to use technology (such as Power Platform) to drive improvements in service delivery processes and in analytics and reporting is highly regarded.Expert skills and competencies in interpersonal communication including verbal and written communication to handle formal and informal communication with a diverse range of stakeholders including employees, managers, board and external regulators and industry associations.Expert skills and competencies in relationship management in context of building credible trust-based relationships with Business Unit Leaders, Team Members and Management.What we offerRED OHMS Group aims to provide a supportive and engaging workplace that looks after its team members and build a great place to work.
