Were looking for a People & Culture Assistant to help us create an awesome workplace where our people feel valued, supported, and inspired. Reporting into the People and Culture Director and working closely with the broader P&C Team, you will provide support for all our people programs and initiatives across the employee lifecycle including Recruitment and Selection; Performance, Training and Development, Employee Engagement, Health and Wellbeing, Rewards & Benefits; Employee Relations, and Workplace Safety.Working within our People & Culture (P&C) team, youll play a key role in making sure our employees have the best experience from day one. Heres what that looks like:Be the go-to person Manage the P&C inbox, be the first line for all P&C queries, and keep things running smoothly.Keep our records on point Update employee data, draft employment letters, and action employment changes.Help us communicate Prepare all P&C communications for company updates, staff meetings, and events.Create amazing employee experiences Coordinate wellness initiatives, celebrations, cultural activities, and more.Recognise and reward our people Manage employee awards, anniversaries, and recognition programs.Support workplace health & safety Support the People and Culture Business Partner in keeping our workplace safe, healthy, and compliant.Support recruitment and onboarding Support onboarding of new employees, induction programs, new starter paperwork and training enrolments.Shape our culture Assist in running engagement surveys, internship programs, and other people-focused initiatives.Keep the admin in check Process purchase orders, reconcile expenses, and support P&C projects.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORThis role would be perfect for a recent HR grad or someone with 1-2 years of experience whos excited to grow in the HR space.
