This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and assisting to define the project''s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.Further and detailed responsibilities are found in the position description which is available upon request and will include:Ensuring safety management and systems to protect the health and safety of all people.Ensuring quality management systems are in place and adhered to.Ensuring maximum operational and production efficiency of the facility.Executing production plans in accordance with business targets.Providing leadership to staff including development of competencies.Reinforcing company values to the production teams.Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.Managing supply of precast products to civil infrastructure projects.Managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Minimising our exposure and risk on project/s.Ensuring project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.About you:Qualification in Mechanical, Civil or other relevant Engineering disciplines would be highly regarded.A sound understanding of Mechanical or Civil Engineering principles.Practical experience in the prestress, precast or reinforced concrete industry will be highly regarded but experience in related industries e.g. civil construction/ heavy industrial manufacturing and similar also considered.Interested in Project Management, delivering projects from infancy to final completion.Strong problem-solving ability and an ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Highly effective communication skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a given and you will be helped by your ability to maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.AutoCAD ability to understand drawings.This is an outstanding opportunity to join our high performing team and to contribute to our world leading business.Why Holcim?At Holcim we offer an inclusive environment, where our people feel comfortable bringing their authentic self to work.
