Full timeLocation: Jubilee Sawmill, Mt Gambier, SA, AUSApplications close: 19 February 2025$30.72 per hour (once trained and assessed)The OneFortyOne Jubilee Sawmill is one of the largest and most modern sawmills in South Australia, employing local people, and supporting our community.We believe in an inclusive culture that is rich in diverse thinking, ideas, and experience, and are interested in passionate people with transferable skills and experience gained from any industry.The RoleAs a member of the Logyard team, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely performing duties of the Logyard using relevant plant and equipment. This involves multi skilling and job rotation with key responsibilities of operating log grabs to unload trucks, loading logs into the mill infeed, and operating the debarker.Hourly rate of $30.72 (Level 5) once trained and assessed with additional 15% shift loading on afternoon shift.Working a 5-day week (Monday-Friday), 8 hours per day on a rotating day and afternoon shift roster plus overtime as required.Day shift is from 7am-3pm and afternoon shift is 3pm-11pm.Youhave previous log grab/debarker operation and/or heavy vehicle operation experienceideally hold a relevant mobile plant licence (loader, log grab, harvester etc.)have a strong commitment to working safely, with the ability to follow proceduresare a reliable and punctual employee with effective communication skillscan work effectively as a member of a self-contained creware willing to learn different roles to become multiskilledare flexible to cover shifts on short notice as requiredare able to solve problems and have good judgment when making decisionsdemonstrate leadership qualitiesTo ApplyOur people are key to our success, and were passionate about being a great place to work.
