We are looking for a number of values-driven, compassionate, and empathetic Support Workers to join our unbeatable team at our new SDA home - Casa Vivus.ABOUT THE ROLEYou will be part of a team of dedicated workers providing support to five special people across two houses on the same site within their home and out in the community.We are looking for Support Workers who are values-driven, compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing the highest level of quality care and support. This is helpful but not essential - training will be provided. A caring attitude and preparedness to learn is most important.An interest in pursuing a career long term with Fighting Chance/Base HousingA passion for providing responsive, person-centred, and considerate careA friendly, values driven professional with a positive and empathetic approach to providing the highest level of supportBe energetic, ambitious, and seeking to learn and grow in the roleFlexible and adaptive communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsREQUIREMENTS:Flexibility to work various morning shifts between 6am to 10am, afternoon 3pm to 10.30pm, sleepover overnights 1030pm to 6am and weekend shiftsPossess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children CheckCurrent First Aid & CPR (HLTAID003) Certificates (or willingness to obtain)Fully Covid Vaccination including BoosterFull NSW Driver''s LicenseRights to work in AustraliaABOUT FIGHTING CHANCEAt Fighting Chance, we believe everyone should have unrestricted access to homes, not just houses.
