From welcoming clients and guests to maintaining pristine meeting rooms, your daily tasks will be varied. You''ll also be involved in coordinating special events, providing an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your organisational prowess and attention to detail. Flexibility is key, as some tasks may require you to step outside of regular business hours, but rest assured, we will provide ample notice for such events.Key responsibilitiesWelcome clients and visitors to our Melbourne office, showcasing a high level of professionalism while creating a warm and welcoming environmentEnsure meeting rooms are clean, tidy, and set up accordinglyFood and beverage service, taking beverage orders, making coffee, ordering, and managing stock, maintaining drinks fridge and organising catering as requiredMaintain clean and tidy kitchen area and office facilities including office hubAssist with special events including event coordination, setting up, running of event, and packing away of equipmentSkills & experiencePrevious experience in a hospitality/retail or customer service role, ideally in a corporate environmentExcellent communication skills, with a positive outlook and motivation to go the extra mile and provide memorable client experiencesHighly organised with the ability to prioritise competing tasksAdaptable, flexible, and able to meet the changing day-to-day needs of stakeholdersEnthusiastic approach to learning and supporting all roles within the teamResponsible Services of Alcohol (RSA) and CPR certification are desirable, but full training can also be providedIf youre interested in this role but dont feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.At Grant Thornton we do things differently because we understand that when you strive for better and care about what you do remarkable things are possible.
