We are seeking motivated can do Process Operators who thrive in physically active positions and are comfortable working in hot conditions.You must be willing to support and be involved in other tasks and activities within the processing environment when required. We also expect you to have fun along the way!The positions are FIFO from Perth, Darwin, or Broome to site or DIDO from Onslow, Exmouth, Karratha, or Dampier. Paulsens is located in the Ashburton Basin of the Eastern Pilbara region, 211kms inland east of Onslow and 180km west of Paraburdoo. Flights are to Onslow or Paraburdoo, then a two-hour transport to site.The roster is 15/13, alternating between day shift and night shift each roster cycle.About the OpportunityOur Process Operators are responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned operations and equipment within the mill and crushing circuit, to optimise mill feed, circuit availability and gold recovery.Key accountabilities include:Monitor, control and operate processing and crushing circuits of the mill including multi-stage crushing circuits, grinding, CIL, gravity and electro-winning circuits, gold room, tails storage facility, stackers, conveyors and water systems.Conduct clean-up duties to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.Assist Fitters in the repair of equipment to ensure minimal impact on production.Operate all associated support equipment, including the excavator, front end loader and skid steer / bobcat safely and productively.Working in a collaborative manner with Maintenance, the Processing Team will together maximise the amount of scheduled maintenance, minimise the impact of unscheduled works and utilise the processing plant optimally to deliver gold.About YouIf you are an enthusiastic person with flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks within a small site team, with a desire to take initiative and persevere in a demanding operational environment, this opportunity is for you! You will need the following:Practical experience and sound knowledge operating gold processing plants, and associated infrastructure in the mining industry.
