You know that quality matters and that delivering results requires a talented team.In this role, you''ll:Be working as part of our Engineering and Maintenance team within the Major Works or Network Maintenance divisions. Youll be integral to delivering a range of construction, engineering and maintenance services ensuring a safe and reliable network, but most importantly, ensuring our customers remain connected and on the move.You will perform major periodic and regular routine maintenance on mechanical signal assets. You will carry out upgrades, renewals, inspections, and corrections. You will play a key role in connecting communities so they can work, rest and play. Plus, railways are climate-smart, efficient, promote economic growth whilst cutting greenhouse gas emissions and in many cases, are faster than a car, bus, or plane; so, you will be part of something pretty cool.You also understand that our network never stops, so are prepared to support the network by working nights, weekends, and overtime with some on-call availability as well as living away from home if required.About youYou have experience working in a safety-focused construction or maintenance environment and can effectively demonstrate your ability to undertake manual work as well as working with technical and industrial equipment. Following technical work-related instructions comes as a breeze to you! You hold a current unrestricted class C drivers licence and are happy driving a small truck, 4WD or Ute.You take health and safety as seriously as we do and are passionate about being part of a team that delivers impactful health and safety outcomes so that everyone goes home safely every day.Youre an excellent communicator who can collaborate with others.
