The role requires excellent organisational skills and understanding on leading a team. A strong ability to multitask, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of product through the warehouse, ensuring inventory is accurate, storage is optimised whilst always maintaining a safe and productive work environment.In order to maintain our exceptional product standards and continued smooth running of our factories, we are seeking a highly organised and motivated manager to lead our Warehouse and Planning teams.Key responsibilities will include:Overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, goods tracking and stocktakesEnsuring effective fleet management including cleanliness and safetyOversee inventory control processes at the two manufacturing locations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. Ensure accurate inventory counts and timely replenishmentCollaborate with internal departments, suppliers and vendors to optimize supply chain efficiency and maintain positive relationshipsPurchasing of ad hoc materials for the siteIn-depth understanding of stock management, including monthly stock takes, FIFO procedures, and logistics coordinationFamiliarity with HACCP standards and warehouse safety practicesManagement of multiple 3PLs to ensure great service levelsQualifications and Skills:Strong technical knowledge in warehouse management systemsProven experience in logistics and operations environmentKnowledge of planning processesPrevious experience with ERP preferredDemonstrated ability to lead a teamContinuous improvement mindset and actively seeking to improve warehouse operations and enhance efficiencyExceptional communications skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentProficient in computer systems, including Microsoft office software, databases, and inventory management softwareStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to meet deadlines and time management skillsThis role is pivotal in providing all our cafs and customers with the bread and pastries that has made Laurent Bakery famous, Australian wide.
