In this role, youll play a key part in driving financial analysis and business strategy across Linear TV, 9Now, and Radio, providing insights into financial performance, and optimising financial operations to support Nines goals. You will also support month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow modelling, and ad hoc business partnering requests.Day to day you will:Analyse business performance trends & drivers to understand department costs and provide insights into variances between forecast, budget and prior yearPartner with management on strategic decisions and provide financial modelling & analysis to advise on key decisions and initiativesCollaborate with the business & finance teams to prepare department forecastsAssist in the annual budget process and consolidation of the Total TV budget deliverables, 5 year plan target tracking and CFO reporting requirements/deliverablesProvide input into the monthly cashflow modellingLeverage the financial system to enhance management reporting and streamline processesPrepare reporting and workpapers for external stakeholders & auditorsPrepare adhoc analysis and reporting as required by the Total TV & Radio business partnering functionQualificationsThis role requires a keen ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.What we would like to see:Qualified Accountant (CA or CPA)Proficiency in ExcelExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisationStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality workProven ability to work efficiently under deadlinesEffective time management and prioritisation skillsExcellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skillsExperience in the Television or content production industry is desirable but not essentialFamiliarity with Microsoft D365 and TM1 applications is desirable but not essentialAdditional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:We''re committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive Nine.
