We contribute positively to the development of the communities that we work in and provide our employees the support and opportunity to grow professionally and personally in each project, wanting them to feel as an integral part of the Company.We believe in the talent and strength of our team, so in order to keep growing together, we are looking for a Financial Accountant for our office based in Brisbane to grow with our Finance Department.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompletion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, and internal management reports.Preparation of GST/BAS.Assisting in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts.Ensuring accounting standards and policies are adhered to.Managing invoices and PO for indirect purchasing.Liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives.Proactively identify new initiatives that could benefit the organization.Other ad hoc duties when required.Experience RequiredBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related Commerce field.Professional accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA or working towards.Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Accounting.Experience in a Chartered Accounting firm can be advantageous.Strong commercial and business acumen.Process and deadline-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.A strong negotiator who can develop ongoing working relationships.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis purposes.Working knowledge of SAP.In return, we offer competitive salary packaging and great staff benefits, the opportunity to develop your experience with one of Australia''s leading commercial solar energy companies, and most of all, an employer who really cares for their employees!If you are looking for your next opportunity and feel the above meets what you are looking for, then apply now!Seniority LevelAssociateEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionAdministrative and FinanceConstruction and Services for Renewable Energy #J-18808-Ljbffr
