Ponant, a leader in expedition cruises, is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Travel Consultant for Reservations.As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in reservations and customer service, while delivering unforgettable experiences to our clients.Role and Responsibilities:Handling reservation inquiries and bookings from travel agents and direct customers promptly and accurately.Assisting clients with essential information regarding our cruise offerings, including cabin availability, itinerary details, and onboard amenities.Providing support to clients with inquiries related to cruise packages, pricing, and special promotions.Collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure smooth coordination and communication throughout the reservation process.Utilising our reservation system and CRM tools effectively to maintain accurate records of client interactions and bookings.Assisting with post-booking inquiries and requests, including changes to reservations and additional service bookings.Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are upheld at all times to enhance the overall client experience.Preferred Skills:Previous experience in reservations, customer service, or a related field, preferably within the travel industry.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information to clients and colleagues.Demonstrated ability in handling inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy in client interactions.Ability to actively listen to client needs and provide appropriate solutions or information in a timely manner.Proficiency in using reservation management systems and CRM software.Hybrid work arrangements after training period.Family cruise every two years during your employment with Ponant.This role will be based in North Sydney.
