Qualified Pastry Chef (Cake Kitchen) - Night Shift - 1 positionHours of Work: Rotating 5-day roster, 76-hour fortnightLaurent Bakery has always been driven by love and respect for the craft of French artisan baking and exists as a homage to the values of a village bakery.In order to maintain our exceptional product standards, we are looking for a fully qualified Pastry Chef who has a strong background with cakes and cake decorating. You will be part of the team responsible for the preparation and baking of our exquisite cakes in our retail outlets.As a Laurent Pastry Chef, you have the opportunity to work with a team of qualified bakers and chefs to enhance your skills with working on the creation of our famous artisan bread, exquisite pastries, and much more. The ideal candidate will:Possess a love of bakingHave 2+ years experience as a qualified Pastry ChefBe willing to learn and excel in your professionBe comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environmentHave some knowledge of HACCP quality systems and be quality focusedIdeally have experience machine operatingThis role is pivotal in providing all our cafs and customers with the bread that has made Laurent Bakery famous, Australian wide.Whats on Offer:Free on-site parkingJoin a fun & inclusive teamApplicants must be able to work in Australia without any ongoing work restrictions.
