About the roleBSI Learning is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Foundation and Digital Literacy Skills Trainer to join our team in Dubbo and/or Wellington in NSW. This part-time role will involve delivering quality training and assessments face to face in a classroom environment, with a focus on developing essential skills for inmates in Corrections Centres.What you''ll be doingDeliver engaging training programs in a range of foundation skills, including literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy (Basic BSBTEC units). All resources and workbooks provided for students are paper-based.Assess learners'' skills and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.Maintain accurate records of learner progress and program delivery.Continuously update your knowledge and skills to ensure training remains current and relevant.Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and processes.What we''re looking forRelevant vocational qualification in education or training, such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.Extensive experience in the delivery of foundation skills training, preferably in a workplace or community setting.Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging, interactive, and learner-centred training.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide effective feedback.Excellent organisational and time management skills.A passion for empowering individuals and contributing to their personal and professional development.What we offerAt BSI Learning, we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment where our employees can thrive.
