This integrated model offers a more cost-effective solution than traditional methods, providing our clients with innovative, always-on support tailored to their needs.The RoleThe role of the Fire Testing Technician is to test and inspect fire detection and panels, sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, and pumps when required as defined under Building Code of Australia and other statutory authorities. Effectively, to undertake programmed maintenance inspections and related works as directed.The successful candidate will possess the following:A strong knowledge of monthly and annual testing and inspecting of fire panels, EWIS systems and fire detection as per AS1851-2012A strong knowledge of monthly and biannual testing, and inspecting of sprinkler and hydrant systems (including fire pumps) as per AS1851-2012Knowledge of biannual and annual testing of fire doors, portable, and passive assets would be advantageousMinimum of 2 years industry experienceA strong knowledge of all relevant Australian StandardsBe a proactive member of the team and have ability to work unsupervised in a team environmentReliable, self-motivated, and well presentedClear verbal and written communication skillsAbility to plan and complete work in an efficient mannerWilling to undergo a national police background checkStrong commitment to safe work practices is essentialValid drivers licenceBenefits of Working with AirmasterThe successful candidate will enjoy the benefits of working with a high performing and progressive company who enjoy an enviable reputation in the industry.
