Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Work Location: Perth - Fortescues Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.Roster: Monday to Friday (transitioning into a 8D/6R when Training facility is completed and training commences.)During this exciting time at Fortescue, with innovation projects changing the way we work in mining, we are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated professional to join the team. We are currently expanding our Trade training team and building a new Perth training facility which is currently in the design stage. With our green energy targets a major focus we are looking to work with our current RTO and train MEM31219 Industrial Electrician.Deliver accredited TAFE Training in Cert III Industrial Electrician MEM 31219 to both Apprentices and Pre-Apprentices along with the development, validation, moderation of Training Assessment Plans (TAP), Training Assessment Strategies (TAS) and learning/resource material. In collaboration with other lecturers and RTO, this Trainer and Assessor position will be responsible for the development, delivery, assessment and resulting of accredited unit of competencies (UoC). The ideal candidate would best suit a highly organised candidate with a solid Registered Training Organisation (RTO) training development and delivery skill set, with experience working in an Apprenticeship/Traineeship/Accredited Training environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting in the day-to-day operations of the Trade Training Centre including, but not limited to, reviewing and updating processes/procedures and general maintenance of the facility.Design, develop, validate and moderate Training Assessment Plans (TAP), Training Assessment Strategies (TAS), assessment, and learning/resource materials including future qualifications being implemented along with resulting.Ensuring your Training Delivery Schedule is available a minimum of 12 months prior to training being conducted and is approved by the Superintendent Trade Apprenticeships including details of what is being delivered and the attendees.Assist in the delivery of comprehensive Workshop and Apprenticeship/Pre-Apprenticeship inductions and familiarisations and delivery of Professional Development Trade Relevant courses to internal Tradespersons within Fortescue to ensure we are upskilling our internal workforce.Undertake audits and safety processes as required.Qualifications and ExperienceLicence Trade Qualified Electrician with experience in Training MEM31219 Industrial Electrician.Certificate IV Training and Assessment TAE40116, Forklift.Proven experience in a similar level position within a fast-paced dynamic environment.Experience in developing and delivering accredited training and conducting operations in accordance with the TAC/RTO framework.Experience in the day-to-day management of training workshops including the supervision and mentoring of teams of 10+.Exposure to Battery electric technologies (highly desirable).Have worked for an RTO or have RTO experience.About UsBe part of something big.
