The role is permanent full-time, 41 hours per week, 9-day fortnight (RDO every second Friday).Key Duties & Responsibilities:Manufacturing products to specification using a variety of equipment and machinery, ensuring production output as a team is maximised.Measuring, examining and testing completed products to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.Notifying the Manufacturing Manager of any potential interruptions to production i.e., breakdowns with urgency.Carrying out basic repairs to machinery.Accurately completing production and QA documentation.Undertaking maintenance on equipment and machines.Completing scheduled tasks as assigned by Manufacturing Manager.Ensuring routine maintenance is carried out correctly and to schedule.Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, ensuring work areas are organised, tidy and free from hazards.Operating all machinery and equipment in line with WHS guidelines to prevent any potential injury or unsafe behaviour.Ensuring that all workshop equipment and tooling is maintained and in accordance with legislative requirements and in a safe, organised and efficient state.Notifying management of any potential safety risks caused by faulty equipment.Performing regular quality checks on products.Desired Skills and ExperienceQualifications:Valid driver''s license.Experience & Skills:Experience working in manufacturing or similar blue-collar environment.Demonstrated focus on health and safety. #J-18808-Ljbffr
