The hospital provides accident and emergency services, general medical care, palliative care and a range of allied health services.Relocation and Accommodation Assistance:Financial assistance for relocation may be available for eligible applicants for appointments prior to 31 December 2026.Accommodation support may be available - conditions apply.About the Role:Are you looking to make a positive impact in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment? We are seeking a dedicated Services Assistant to join our team, ensuring our health unit runs smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you''ll play a key part in delivering high-quality food and maintaining a clean, safe space for clients and staff. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, service and delivery, general housekeeping, and laundry duties.Key Responsibilities:Provide catering services, including food preparation, delivery, and presentation.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the health unit.Support with laundry duties as required.Ensure safe food handling and infection control processes are followed.About You:Limited experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry roles.Basic knowledge of safe working conditions, food safety, and infection control.Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer tasks.Understanding of Work Health and Safety Act and risk management principles.Immunisation Risk for this position is Category AApplicant Information:The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time.Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance.SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.Want To Know More?
