We offer advice, court assistance, and family dispute resolution by phone or at our 28 offices. Legal Aid NSW has Australias largest family law practice, handling diverse and dynamic cases across all life stages. We help adults and children resolve disputes and achieve safe, workable family arrangements. Our services include legal advice, outreach, duty services, family dispute resolution, and case representation in Commonwealth family law matters (property, parenting, child support, Hague Convention), state care and protection cases (parens patriae, NCAT, education), and domestic violence matters across NSW.About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for a senior leader to contribute to the future direction of the Family Law Division. As Deputy Director, you will assist the Executive Director in managing the delivery of family law services to ensure consistent statewide practice requirements, especially in relation to care and protection work, in line with the priorities and objectives established in the strategic plan and the Family Law Divisions strategic objectives.About youYou are an experienced leader and family lawyer with a strong track record in the planning, implementation, and review of legal services for people and communities experiencing disadvantage. You are accustomed to managing diverse functions and teams in a complex operating environment, while ensuring the highest standards in client service delivery and practice management. You are collaborative, innovative, and strategic with demonstrated experience in establishing cooperative arrangements with internal and external stakeholders.
