Our Infrastructure team has been helping the largest clients across Australia with their complex programs of work. We have roles coming up for Civil & Water/Wastewater Inspectors for projects located in the Gold Coast area. We cover everything from leading teams, planning works, tracking progress and business case delivery to bringing assets into use.Turner & Townsend will give you the opportunity to work with world-class clients on cutting-edge projects and to build a successful career with a company that will offer the highest levels of support at every stage.Job DescriptionSome of the key specifications for our Site InspectorsThe role is to undertake site surveillance activities for multiple civil projects (roads, stormwater, bridges, waterways, etc).A site presence is required most days per week with the balance of time either working from home or working within Councils office or other Turner & Townsend or our clients offices, or where appropriate from a home office.We are seeking candidates that will deliver a positive project outcome for our client and protect the position of the Superintendent in all contractual matters.Representation of Turner & Townsend positively to enable growth of additional roles within this program as well as other clients in our portfolio.Good technical understanding of civil asset types (roads, stormwater, bridges, waterways, etc). Civil Engineering degree desirable.QualificationsQualificationsMinimum of 5-8+ years working in a Site Management/Inspection role on large civil infrastructure projects.Experience in undertaking inspector roles on contracts including AS2124, AS4300 & Minor Works.Experience in undertaking the role of inspector on large Civil projects.Detailed technical understanding of civil asset types (roads, stormwater, bridges, waterways, etc).Proven experience in on-site contractor management.Experience operating at various stages in the project lifecycle.Self-motivated team player with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
