Hybrid work arrangements are available.In this role, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements, undertaking comprehensive analyses and evaluations of all RFT documents, preparing detailed cost estimates using our digital tools, including:Analysing project needs for accurate cost projections and developing competitive bids.Building relationships and collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors, organising records, and identifying potential risks and uncertainties in project costs with contingencies.You will stay informed with current market trends, material costs, and labour rates to ensure estimates are up-to-date and competitive. You''ll review and adjust estimates as needed based on changes in project scope, design modifications, or updated information. Presenting detailed cost reports to key internal and external stakeholders, you''ll highlight key cost factors and potential areas for cost savings, while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.Additionally, you''ll assist in updating precontract processes and procedures and ensure proper handover documentation for project kick-off.About youAs an experienced Electrical Estimator, youll bring extensive experience within the Utilities, Industrial, Mining, or Transport sectors for Tier 1 or 2 contracting businesses. Holding either a Trade Certificate, diploma, or a relevant bachelors degree is essential. You can identify and manage risks and opportunities in new projects through the estimating and submission process.You are experienced in producing project estimates and performing detailed measurements, issuing tender documentation, and have experience with control systems. A strong background in estimating and cost analysis with a proven track record of preparing accurate cost estimates is required.
