FML is the largest landholder in the Coolgardie Goldfield region, with over 450sqm of tenements near its 1.2mtpa Three Mile Hill Processing Facility, with an extensive pipeline of projects and significant regional exploration potential. Resumption of operations commenced in 2023, FML has now commenced the planning and execution phase of bringing its Bonnie Vale underground operation online.The RoleWe are currently looking to expand our Geology team to support the addition of our underground team and sourcing a Sampler to join our team. This position will provide support and assistance with the collection of samples from our underground structures in ore drives and development headings.This position is offered on a FIFO, DIDO or Local Hire 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off basis.The key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:Obtain samples as required from underground mining resources, including preparation of areas, washing down face before samples are extracted and recording photographic images.Assist the team with grade control and data collection from underground workings, face mapping and grab sampling.Provide support with rock ore designations.Provide support with diamond drilling activities, including core preparation and sampling.Work with the contractor on schedule of works, ensuring accessibility timeframes are effectively communicated.Data entry of samples and locations as required.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have the following:Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position in Underground Mining.Understanding of geologic principles including different types of rocks and mineral deposits.High level written and oral communications.Valid manual driver''s licence.A positive can do attitude.Capacity to adapt in a dynamic operational environment.Focus Minerals is an ASX listed company in an exciting period of expansion and production.
