Then this is the role for you!Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking a Ward Clerk to join our Day Surgery team on a full-time basis. You will find us at Randwick, where we share a precinct with three other prestigious hospitals; Sydney Childrens Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women and the Prince of Wales (public).Joining our team means you will be supported by great team leaders, be part of a strong, innovative team who always strive for better, and have the opportunity to flourish and grow.As a Ward Clerk your responsibilities will include:Greet all customers with care and compassion, so that patients and families feel comfortable during their hospital stayWork collaboratively with nursing staff and Nurse Unit ManagerPreparation of patient files, appointment lists and coordination with other ward clerks to obtain ward patient filesMedical record filingProviding clerical support to the clinical teamLiaison with allied health, wards persons and other hospital departments when required to facilitate patient treatments or transfersPrevious experience in a medical environmentExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsGood oral and written communication skillsWell organised, able to prioritise, plan ahead and work under pressureAbility to work autonomously in a self-directive environmentExperience with medical terminologyExperience with Webpass Medical SystemExperience in a ward environmentWhy Healthscope?
