You will find us at Randwick, where we share a precinct with three other prestigious hospitals: Sydney Childrens Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women, and the Prince of Wales (public).Joining our team means you will be supported by great team leaders, be part of a strong, innovative team who always strive for better, and have the opportunity to flourish and grow.As a Food Service Assistant, your responsibilities will include:Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly.Deliver, serve, and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays.Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.Provide high standard of customer service.Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures.Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients.Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development.Authority to Work in Australia.Working with Children check (if relevant).Experience in Hospitality (desirable).Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality.Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.Commitment to service excellence.Strong communication and customer skills.Work well independently and within a team.Available for on-call shifts including weekends.Why Healthscope?
