A team that understands our business and focuses on the right things that make the biggest difference and one that considers our end-to-end value chain when making decisions to optimise our business.About the Opportunity:We are looking for a passionate and energetic Site Lead responsible for the Erskine Park manufacturing facility in Sydney, producing both liquid and bakery grocery products. We are in an exciting period of growth, which as an integral member of the operations leadership team you will have direct and strategic involvement in. We also have significant projects underway that require a dynamic leader to build capability within the team while also driving process excellence to be best in class.Lead the Production, Maintenance, Supply and SHEQ teams to deliver the GFA strategy with a continuous improvement focusEnsure all improvement projects are delivering the production, safety and quality objectivesContinue to develop the site''s safety culture & implement SHE standards to ensure a safe workplace and prevention of injuriesCreate and maintain an eliminate waste and continuous improvement cultureDeliver and exceed financial objectives for the overall siteSet clear expectations and goals for all members of the site team that are aligned with the objectives of your strategic plan and the site''s objectives working with Sales, Marketing, Brand and R&D teamsTechnical DeliverablesEmbed clear production processes (CI, DIF, OEE, Predictive maintenance, labour requirements, spend)Develop a data-driven decision making process that is aligned to the objectives of productionContinue to progress the site''s methodical and consistent RCA processLead from the front, set safety, environmental, quality and behavioural expectations and adherenceTo be successful in this role you will need:Proven manufacturing leadership experienceRelevant tertiary qualification (for example engineering, food science, business management)Experience with continuous high speed processing and packaging equipment in a bakery, bottling or industrial food production environment or relevant experience in artisan baking / high-volume food production (advantageous)Experience in a FMCG environmentStrong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills, with a drive to succeed through times of changeStrong focus on safety, quality and waste elimination, experience in Lean Manufacturing principlesStrong stakeholder engagement and ability to build high-performance teamsExperience in new product development trials and process improvementPrevious experience in preparing and managing budgets and P&Ls.What can we offer you?With operations sites spanning across Australia, working as part of a highly-driven team at Goodman Fielder, you can expect the opportunity to build your own home-grown career across functions, locations and brands.
