Visit www.pentarch.com.au to learn more.About the PositionWe are seeking to appoint a Supervisor for our Dry Mill operations at Nowra Timber Mill. This role will see you responsible for the following:Operation of the Kiln ensuring timber is moved through the kiln operation to ensure it is dried to standard, then stored ready to be processed into finished decking or flooring boards.Treatment Plant Supervision Overseeing the pre-treating timber activities to prevent borer attack whilst air drying.Dry Mill Supervision Oversee up to ten operators producing finished decking or flooring boards.We arent expecting you to have prior experience in a Timber Mill (if you do, then great) but we are willing to train. To be successful in this role, you need to have some experience with MS EXCEL, as part of your responsibilities include Stocktakes (which utilise EXCEL). If you have been in a supervisory position previously, then this role could be for you.This is a Permanent Full-Time position which will contribute to the performance across the site to enable the meeting of targets in terms of production, efficiency, and quality in a safe and environmentally sound manner.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:Ensuring production minimum standards meet internal and external requirements.Supervising a small team of Timber Mill Operators.Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety conversations about HSE performance.Performing Stocktakes as required.Manage internal stock transfers.To be successful in this role you will have:Previous experience in a supervisory position within a manufacturing environment (ideal).Ability to work independently and solve problems.The ability to build strong working relationships and promote effective communication within a team.Computer literate (particularly with EXCEL (beginner level).In return, we offer:A secure, permanent role with a competitive salary package.Opportunities to grow your current skills, knowledge, and career with supportive management.A dedicated team and positive work environment on site.An organisation which values our employees and has a strong focus on the safety of our team members.Successful Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and be prepared to undergo a Police Check and a pre-employment Medical and Physical assessment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
