Job PurposeAn exciting opportunity for an Export Operator to join our growing team!This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end shipping operation for our clients using DP Worlds assets and systems, while maintaining our reputation and brand as a market-leading logistics service provider.The Export Operator will manage day-to-day operations for key clients, from bookings, processing shipments, liaising with transport through to invoicing and reporting.DP World offers flexible work from home arrangements.Key AccountabilitiesProcess Export Sea bookingsRegister all booking details in DP World''s ERP system (CargoWise CW1)Lodge EDN, PRA, COO, RFPArrange origin cartageLodge FI on carrier portalArrange billing & process service provider invoicesLiaise with Overseas Agent as requiredCreate & maintain SOPs for client profilesProvide the highest level of customer service to clients by being responsive, cooperative, and knowledgeableDemonstrate problem-solving capability and escalate issues with management in a timely mannerActively participate in weekly department meetings and follow management directives for task allocation, reporting until completion.Follow export SOP and KPI requirementsQualifications, Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will possess the following:3-5 years experience in export operations preferred, sea freight (mandatory)Experience using freight forwarder software, CW1 (highly regarded), or Expedient or the likeExperience dealing with carriers, transport companies, terminals, Customs, AQIS, 1-StopTeam player, able to coordinate and share responsibilities with other team members and/or departmentsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsCapable of following management directives, SOPs, and KPIsExcellent understanding of the supply chain from an Australian perspectiveSupporting equalityDP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
