We have an unparalleled local understanding of the needs of the ADF, and an 800-strong team committed to doing the right thing for Australia and each other.The Subcontracts and Procurement function plays a crucial and meaningful role in the success of Northrop Grumman Australia (NGA), directly supporting the delivery of our products and services by securing the essential goods and services that drive our operations. This team manages the entire lifecycle of subcontracts sourcing to completionensuring that every agreement aligns with company policies, legal requirements, and customer expectations.Your Role:Manage complex sourcing initiatives and subcontract management to support NGAs success.Develop RFx packages, negotiate contracts, and oversee subcontract awards and ongoing management.Ensure the supply chain remains efficient and aligned with business objectives.Support the Manager of Subcontracts and Procurement in continuous improvement activities across the supply chain.Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to drive seamless operations and business growth.About You:Experienced in senior subcontracts or commercial roles, particularly in complex environments such as Defence.Skilled in subcontract drafting, review, and commercial management, contributing to complex negotiations.A natural leader and collaborator, working effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to maintain focus on long-term goals while managing short-term challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with executives, suppliers, and stakeholders.Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.Thrive in fast-paced environments, remaining calm under pressure and finding innovative solutions.Familiar with Defence supply chain policies, particularly the ASDEFCON suite of contract documents.What we Offer:Professional Development further education, leadership development, professional industry memberships and unlimited access to a range of online training.Purchased annual leave.Salary packaging including novated car leases.Generous paid parental leave.Volunteer and enhanced Reservist Leave.Employee Assistance Program.Were building a unique, values-driven and inclusive business.
