Our people and their jobs are as diverse as the communities we serve.Your role will involve:Sydney Water Digital Business Programs (DBP) improve and transform the experience of customers and employees through the efficient delivery of a business-focussed program of work. We lead the design and development of Sydney Water''s Digital portfolio for customer, business and corporate systems.This role of Business Analyst within DBP will work in the delivery of People Experience Program (PxP). PxP will transform our people experiences at Sydney Water, from recruitment to leaving, as well as our people day-to-day activities (rostering, time and attendance, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, pay and performance management, talent and succession, and retention).What Youll Bring:Leadership Skills:The ideal candidate will be able to explain business and technical concepts in simple terms. You will learn a new domain very quickly and teach aspects of the domain problem and solution to business and technical stakeholders. Write effective business scenarios, requirements documentation and conceptual & functional design documentation.Analytical Skills:The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to monitor and assess system performance, implement and maintain conceptual data modelling, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and support improvement initiatives.Interpersonal Skills:Participate actively in project teams and mentor staff to enhance data quality. Prioritize the safety of colleagues, the public, and the environment in all tasks.
