This team focuses on generating vital funds to assist the organisation to provide critical services each year to support over 70,000 Western Australians.As the Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Philanthropy team through the delivery of fundraising and donor stewardship events. This includes coordinating the delivery and ongoing upkeep of Anglicare WAs key donor events, as well as leading the charge for the new Anglicare WA Gala. The role will include some fundraising, as well as building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to increase the fundraising potential of Anglicare WA.This is a part-time (30 hours per week) opportunity on an ongoing basis. The occasional weekend and evening work will be required.Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat you will bringYou are a proactive, innovative and collaborative individual, with a genuine love of communicating with people and a drive to deliver high quality events.You will have:Tertiary Qualification in Events Management OR relevant experienceStrong relationship building and negotiation skillsA collaborative and positive approach to teamworkAbility to thrive in a fast paced work environment and multi-task competing demands and deadlinesSound knowledge of fundraising standards, principles and proceduresThe successful candidate must also possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and a WA Drivers Licence.
