Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$120,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yrIt''s an exciting time to be joining Navantia Australia, one of Australia''s leading companies in the Maritime Sustainment industry.Navantia Australia currently has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Scheduler to join the team out of its Garden Island, Sydney office. This position is a fixed term contract until 30th June 2025.The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining the Project integrated schedule for ship maintenance availabilities and for preparing work packages and supporting associated planning activities.In this role, you will:Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule for maintenance activities on the AOR ships.Ensure the Main Work List (MWL) aligns with the schedule and parts & material status is identified for each task.Update the schedule during maintenance periods and provide the required reports to the Project Manager and other stakeholders (critical path, histograms, by WBS and by Subcontractor).Liaise with stakeholders and subcontractors to continuously refine the schedule and update progress.Provide schedule progress reports for Stage Gate reviews and weekly status meetings.Prepare schedules to support survey and quote activities, maintenance windows of opportunity and adhoc URDEF work.Conduct what if scenarios in the schedule to determine the impact of additional or new work.Assist planning in the development and control of work packages for maintenance availability periods.Support the maintenance team in the selection of subcontractors for maintenance work and in establishing the project budget and compiling cost reports.Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure any issues arising in the schedule are reported.Work closely with the AOR Master Scheduler to ensure relevant key dates and milestones are consistent between the Program Schedule and the EMP maintenance schedules.Improve work force productivity by identifying conflicts in the schedule and offering potential solutions.Support the Project Manager in the closeout of completed work packages including assisting in the review of OQE.As the ideal candidate, you will have:Technical/Trade Background with post trade qualifications (Cert IV, Diploma or equivalent)Proven skills and experience in the development of detailed and complex project schedules in a maintenance environmentMinimum 3 years experience in trade work planning activities.
