The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. Youll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce high standard products for our new and regular guests.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook food items according to GYG recipes and standardsAssist in kitchen operations, including food prep and cookingMaintain a clean and organised kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standardsCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely order fulfillmentHandle and store ingredients and supplies properlyOperate and maintain kitchen equipment and utensilsAssist in inventory management and stock rotationRespond to customer inquiries and special requests in a friendly, customer-focused mannerAdapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficientlyExperience:Experience is helpful, but its not everything.
