It is identified for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to join our Conduct and Professional Standards Team. You will conduct high quality, timely and fair investigations into serious misconduct matters related to employees and contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct investigations into allegations of reportable conduct within the Child Youth and Family program and disability reportable incidents against Life Without Barriers staff, contractors and foster carers.Conduct workplace investigations into serious misconduct matters across the business.Engage and partner with stakeholders both internal and external to LWB.Complete investigation plans, conduct investigative interviews, analyse evidence, and complete investigation reports.Identify and provide recommendations in relation to practice improvement opportunities.Communicate and act in ways that are consistent with Life Without Barriers Values.Skills & ExperienceRelevant tertiary qualifications in investigations, human resources and/or social welfare field.Demonstrated experience in conducting high quality investigations.Experience in the field of child protection and/or the disability sector will be highly regarded.Demonstrated skills and experience in conducting investigative interviews with children, adults and vulnerable persons.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Current Drivers Licence and own reliable transport.The successful applicant will be required to provide contact details for a cultural referee who can comment on your knowledge of issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.How to ApplyInclude your resume and covering letter in one document, click Apply and follow the prompts.
