BE Part of our Growing TEAM!Our Client Narellan Pools is Australia''s largest fiberglass swimming pool manufacturer and a leading provider of high-quality swimming pool construction - and we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pool Plumber and Installer to join our dynamic team in New South Wales.In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-quality pool maintenance and repair services for our valued customers.Tasks / ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate activities of the team that is engaged in the installation of swimming pools, concreting and plumbing to ensure effective utilisation of team and timely delivery.Perform general pool plumbing, including delivering quality pool installations, concreting and plumbing as per plan, project outcomes and pool building standards in line with Narellan Pools Standards and Australian Standards.Study blueprint plans, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of pool plumbing systems and materials required as approved by the Director.Set out and install hot and cold-water systems and associated equipment as part of the overall pool system.Design and install water supply systems, discharge pipes for high-end pool systems.Install below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems as needed.Ensure construction plans and drawings have been correctly read, understood, maintained and returned as part of completing the project in a professional manner.Ensure screed bed, back fill, pool plumbing, fittings, lights, skimmer box, etc. are installed accurately and correctly.Ensure all concreting tasks including formwork, steel, pouring, screed, stripping and site cleaning are professionally completed.Ensure pool plumbing is completed in accordance with plans and meets accreditation/ certification standards.Clean and prepare the job site including loading and delivering materials.Organise and manage materials, tools and supplies in a professional manner for efficient workflow.Use a variety of tools and machines as appropriate.Assist as required in the installation of fixtures, such as pipes, valves and equipment.Ensure equipment installation is completed to set standards as per plan specifics, including right position, clean pipes and minimum wastage.If required to drive a Narellan Pools vehicle, ensure you do so in a safe and thoughtful way, ensuring adherence to all road roads and with safety as a priority.Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, customers and the team at all times.Assist the Construction Supervisor with organising and management of jobs as instructed.Perform general onsite labour tasks (this may include digging, site cleaning, acid washing, use of tools & equipment according to the project requirements).Collect required materials and deliver them to the site in a timely manner in accordance with the Directors instructions.Ensure the job is completed in a timely manner.Ensure you have accurately added all relevant and required chemicals as per Pool Clean and Handover Checklist.Once the Pool clean and handover checklist is completed accurately and in a timely manner, ensure it is sent to the Administration team and Director to action next steps.Ensure that the Director receives appropriate support and updates within appropriate timeframes on project progress.Ensure Narellan Pools Hills District signage is installed and maintained on-site in accordance with franchise brand presence requirements.Ensure all customer sites are kept in a neat and clean state.Ensure that all company equipment including vehicles and tools are treated with respect, well maintained and organised.Adhere to all quality, WHS and environmental management processes at all times.Action any other reasonable duties and or projects upon request.Comply to all Narellan Pools Hills District policies and procedures.Skills / Experience Required for the PositionAQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).3-5 years experience in Pool Plumbing.An understanding of the principles, techniques and methods involved in pool building.Previous experience in a trade such as carpentry, tiling or concreting.Valid Drivers'' License.Physically fit as manual labor is required.Works well under pressure to meet deadlines.Participates and works well in a team-based environment.Positive and great work ethic.Excellent verbal communication skills.Experience in a role which involves face to face interactions with clients and customers.Ability to work with minimal supervision, take direction and a willingness to learn.Willingness to undertake a police check, health check and alcohol and other drug testing as required.Understanding of and ability to abide by Work, Health and Safety protocols and have Personal Protective Equipment knowledge.Ability to work in a flexible, multi-tasking environment.If you are
