We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.Our current project is with a T1 mining Company working on a Major Greenfields Mine Development project. You will be designing for this Remote QLD based greenfield mine development project the following:CampsElectrical infrastructure, early and finalCommunications networks, early and finalMajor earthworks, roads, dams, bridgesProcess infrastructureRun of Mine and non-process infrastructureWharf and ship loading facilitiesEnvironmental, community and heritage interfacesWhat youll do:Initially you will be a Project engineer, office based to work with a multi-disciplined team in WSP Brisbane Office to work on the Development of current Design and Study documentation to prepare for early works and onsite construction forecast to start end of this year.Your role will include project engineering and management tasks, including:Scoping and work package developmentScheduling and estimatingCost and schedule control as well as reportingManagement of team performance to meet project objectives.When we move to the next stage of the project you will support on site construction works either in a FIFO role on site or Brisbane project support role, this will be determined at a later stage and we will discuss options if you get to the interview stage.About You:You MUST have the following skills and experience to apply for this role:A Bachelor of Engineering qualification or equivalent and a Queensland white cardIdeally a Project management certificate or qualification, S11, Current Medical and a First Aid certificateProven experience within Major Projects for mining or major infrastructure within AustraliaExperience in Major Projects for mining or major infrastructureExperience and knowledge of FIFO and or remote working (mining or construction)On site project engineering for construction and or infrastructure projectsDeveloping scopes of works, estimates, procurement and contract managementDevelopment of schedules, estimates and project execution plansOffice based study and detailed design projects is a mustExperience in safety systems, processes and proceduresAble to work independently and as part of a teamGood presentation and Client facing skillsProactive approach to defining tasks and delivery of project objectivesWorking with contractorsHigh safety standards and contributor to safety cultureStrong cost, schedule, scope and contract management skillsGood interpersonal skillsEye for detail with regards to project and construction execution.Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
