This close-knit team of 14, including three Partners and three Special Counsels, work across a variety of high-volume, large-scale property projects in addition to standalone conveyancing. This position is a senior role and includes a mix of residential and commercial matters, so experience across both will be advantageous. Our Property & Leasing group operates as a collegiate, supportive team and seeks a candidate who would like to be part of their success. Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include:Managing end-to-end conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases, transfers and refinancing.Assisting with large-scale property projects such as residential developments, subdivisions and off-the-plan sales.Conducting property searches, reviewing contracts and liaising with clients, banks and other stakeholders.Preparing and lodging documents including contracts, settlement statements and transfer documents.Coordinating settlement processes via PEXA and liaising with any relevant parties to ensure timely completion.Whilst this position is advertised as full-time (9:00am to 5:15pm, Monday to Friday), we are open to considering candidates who wish to work part-time (a 9 day fortnight or 4 days minimum per week).About youTo be successful in this role, you will have at least 5 years experience in conveyancing across both residential and commercial matters. You will be confident in dealing with the preparation and management of bulk documents relating to off-the-plan sales or purchases and ongoing management of bulk conveyancing to settlement. This busy practice requires someone who is capable of managing a significant volume of matters and who has a proven ability to consistently produce high quality work for a wide range of clients. We are therefore looking for someone who is highly organised, practical and commercially minded.
