These are permanent positions, and you will work a rotating lifestyle roster 5/4 4/5 5/5 12 hour shifts.In this role, you will:Perform quality repairs and maintenance of a diverse fleet in accordance with Thiess policies and procedures, safely and efficiently.Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins and computer-based systems and execute maintenance in accordance with this information.Be responsible for the use and proper storage of workshop and personal tooling and advise the supervisor of any defects or safety issues.Set and maintain high housekeeping standards.Carry out pre-start checks, and personal and group risk assessments as required by the task.About youTo be considered for this role you are required to have:Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or Equivalent.HR Drivers licence preferable.EWP, Dogging and MDG25 (preferable).Post trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry.What Thiess can do for youPermanent full-time positions.Even time, lifestyle rosters (if applicable).Thiess commitment to training & development.Salary sacrifice options novated leasing.Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.About usThiess works with clients in Australia, Asia and the Americas in the dynamic field of open-cut and underground mining.The pioneering spirit of our founders the legendary Thiess brothers is our legacy, and inspires our vision to harness the power of people and technology to drive sustainable change.At Thiess, you will have the opportunity to play a part in the global energy transition.
