This hands-on role will report through to the Electrical and Infrastructure Superintendent and support Thiess''s technology systems at Mt Arthur South.Working on a Monday to Friday dayshift roster, the responsibility of the role will be to assist with the maintenance and installation of infrastructure and systems which support the Fleet Management System (FMS) and other smart machine systems used on our operations.Key Responsibilities:Assist with installations on new machinesCarry out inspections and repairs during machine overhaulsCarry out preventative maintenance of site network infrastructurePerform system upgrades as requiredBuild a close working relationship with equipment OEMs: Ivolve, Position Partners, CAT, CR Digital etcAbout youYou must have:Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems or a technology-related field, for example, Engineering, Radio Communications, Electronics, or Electrical TradeCertificate of Proficiency in related tradeCurrent Drivers LicenceExperience working in an Open Cut Mining environmentKnowledge and demonstrated experience of Fleet Management System (FMS) and other smart machine systemsWhat Thiess can do for youPermanent full-time positionsMonday to Friday or Monday to Thursday options.
