This position will support Richmond and Bankstown, NSW operations by executing purchases both locally and internationally, as required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Source and purchase the highest quality products, while ensuring timely availability and cost effectiveness.Maintain good relationships with suppliers by keeping them informed of Coulson Aviation Australias needs and expectations and promptly addressing any issues that arise.Follow up with vendors, suppliers, transportation service providers and/or customs brokers to ensure all shipments are being expedited as expected.Inspect purchased products upon delivery to ensure the correct item was received, in proper order and report any issues.Continuously seek to improve procurement processes and inventory flow.Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:2 years minimum experience as Purchaser or BuyerAviation experience preferredCommunicates effectivelyExercises good judgment and makes effective, sound, timely and informed decisionsCurrently hold or ability to obtain Red ASIC card and/or RAAF passesWe would like to thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, we can only consider applicants that are an Australian resident and are legally eligible to work in Australia.
