We are seeking 2 x motivated Apprentice Cable Jointers to undertake a Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Underground over a four-year program. This program will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals, while also attending TAFE to complete your certification. The locations for these apprenticeships will be based at Glen Waverley.During the program, you will be a valued member of our team and will participate in workplace and worksite rotations, experiencing a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry which will enhance your skills and career development opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesInstalling, jointing and termination of underground HV/LV power cables, telecommunications cables and associated civil activities.Adhere to Company Policies, Quality Systems and Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures as well as statutory requirements.Emergency response on customer distribution, sub-transmission cable assets.About YouThis is an exciting time for our industry and we would love to share this journey with someone who is committed and eager to learn. When you complete the program successfully, you will have completed all competencies for a Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Underground.
